To meet our customers' diverse needs, Delta Dental of Missouri plans offer access to two networks of dentists ? Delta Dental Premier and Delta Dental PPO™.
Delta Dental Premier
With more than 98% of the dentists in Missouri, and 80% of the dentists in the nation, the Delta Dental Premier network is the largest in the industry. Our participating Delta Dental Premier dentists have agreed not to bill the patient for the remainder of their billed (retail) charge, which is typically higher than the Delta Dental Premier fee schedule amount. These dentists will also file the patient's claims - eliminating paperwork.
Delta Dental Premier network dentists accept a contracted allowance and do not bill the patient for amounts over this allowance, resulting in lower out-of-pocket costs for our members.
Delta Dental PPO™
For employer groups looking for lower costs and great coverage, Delta Dental's PPO network is the solution. Backed by the "safety net" of Delta Dental Premier, Delta Dental PPO™ has been a preferred network among the majority of our employer groups. With Delta Dental PPO™, members will often have the freedom to choose a network dentist, a Delta Dental Premier or a non-network dentist.
